Hello! Our names are Sonja, and Patricia Brewer. We are certified pet stylists through Rio Grooming School in Hastings,MN. After we had gained our certificates through the program we wanted to further our knowledge in the profession. From there we have taken and completed certificate courses through Barkley in Chicago, Il. A few months after our courses, we were on a new journey to opening our own pet grooming business in Roseau,MN.(current location.) The animal world is anything but unfamiliar to us, more specifically, dogs! Patricia having two and Sonja having four, we understand that they are part of your family just as much as ours! Our goal with Fur North Pet Spa is to make a pampering experience for your furry friend with knowledge and professionalism to back it! In the future, we plan on continuing our education as much as we can, and to eventually earn our certificate in 'masters grooming'. Patricia Brewer
My name is Patricia Brewer, and animals have always been a central part of my life. I share my home with my family and two wonderful dogs. I attended Rio Grooming School in Hastings, MN where I gained extensive training and hands-on experience in professional grooming techniques. This education, paired with my love for animals, has given me the tools and confidence to provide pets with the highest level of care. I am beyond excited to bring this passion and knowledge to the community as we open Fur North Pet Spa in Warroad, Minnesota. My goal is to create a welcoming space where every pup feels safe, loved, and pampered. At Fur North, every pet is treated like family, and I can’t wait to meet yours!
Sonja Brewer
Hello, my name is Sonja Brewer and I am 24 years old. I have a daughter, four dogs, cats, horses. With so many paws, hooves, and little hands around me, I’ve learned that caring for animals is more than just a responsibility, it’s a passion and a way of life. I’ve spent years building hands-on experience, patience, and understanding of what animals entail. This deep connection with animals has shaped not only who I am but also how I approach every aspect of my work. I believe in compassion, respect, and treating every pet as if they were my own. I’m very excited to start this new journey and finally open something I feel so confidently and passionate about!
